Joust Evolution Screenshots

Having produced a test overlay Vectorzoa can now reveal screen shots from Vectrex Joust Evolution. By visiting the main site vectorzoa.com check out the raster platforms and flickering flames and vector mounts, eggs and remaining details. Remember this game is Joust Evolution, at this point only the Joust Classic features are shown.

/drool/ Looking very nice!

Are you planning the same kind of package as Spikes Circus was distributed in?

Thanks for your comment! :) Yes, the Vectrex Clearboxes (available to buy) are now standard for all Vectorzoa products to allow me to concentrate on the games themselves rather than the manufacturing and packaging.
Alex.

P.S. Unbranded Vectrex Clearboxes are offered at discount rates to Vectrex games developers to help them publish games more easily in a simple and professional manner.

hello alex...
you are really really working hard, i see...
releasing spikes circus, getting a baby, and now already working on this awesome looking Joust game (and maybe even on another baby ;) )..

i wish my own programming would be as fast as yours..things really take time for me to complete my little fighting game...

anyway, great work man...
keep on...

Ahhh, cool idea... it will join Armor Attack as a game where the overlay actually makes a difference to the game.... looking good.

I think Joust is an excellent game to port for the Vectrex. What the Veccy lacks in resolution it can make up for with animation, and Joust fits that bill well. Plus it's a cracking game :-)

Looking forward to this coming. Will be great if there is anything you can show at Eurocon.

Looks Great!. Finally, 100% required use of an overlay for game play. The original developers will be amused.

I'm curious, what were some of the "evolved" features planned for Joust Evolution that were not in classic mode. Anything particularly interesting?
